GitHub
Connect repository context and authorize sandbox checkouts.
Adria uses GitHub for repository context, pull request events, and sandbox checkouts. Dashboard source installation and CLI authorization serve different parts of that workflow.
For development computers, start with cube login; it guides you through
GitHub authorization. Install a dashboard source when you also want repository
indexing and event-driven workflows.
Connect a dashboard source
- Open Settings in the Adria dashboard.
- In GitHub App, select Install App.
- Choose the GitHub account and repositories to give Adria access to.
- Complete installation and return to Adria.
Adria starts indexing the selected repositories and receiving their events. Use Update Install to change the installation's repository selection.
The integration reads repository contents, metadata, pull requests, and issues. GitHub installation permissions and the selected repositories determine its scope.
Authorize the CLI
cube loginComplete the browser flow and wait for confirmation that GitHub is connected. To connect or renew GitHub authorization separately:
cube auth githubSelect a repository
Run sandbox commands from a local GitHub checkout. Adria identifies the repository from Git remotes and prepares a separate remote checkout.
See repositories and branches for ambiguous remotes, branch selection, and working with local commits.
Use repository events
Once your dashboard source is indexed, select its repositories when
creating an Adria workflow. The current workflow trigger
uses pull requests merged into main in the selected repositories.
