Codex
Run Codex with your tools, repository, and saved configuration.
Codex is installed in the standard Adria sandbox image. Configure its credential locally, then launch it inside a sandbox.
Connect your credential
cube auth codexPaste your OpenAI API key when prompted. The terminal hides the credential. API usage is billed by OpenAI; importing local settings does not import a ChatGPT subscription login.
Start a task
cube start feature/payments --tmux codexThen launch the agent in the remote checkout:
codexGive Codex a task, such as adding validation to a form and running the existing tests. Review its changes with your normal Git workflow.
Optional: bring your setup
Reuse your local instructions, settings, skills, and MCP definitions with configuration imports. Preview the import first; credentials and subscription login sessions are managed separately.
Return to your work
Detach with Ctrl+B, then D. Reconnect using
cube connect feature/payments --tmux codex while the VM is running.
Pausing stops Codex and preserves its files; resume the sandbox and launch
Codex again.
Use agent status to inspect recent activity across Sessions.
